💙 Thank You, BVA Families! 💙
We are so grateful to everyone who joined and supported us at our Celebration of Learning! Thank you for showing up, celebrating our students, and supporting their learning and creativity.

Your continued school involvement and support is what makes our school community so special. It was wonderful to see our campus filled with families, students, and community members coming together to celebrate all that our students have been learning and creating.

If you snapped photos at the event, please upload them using THIS LINK to be considered for the yearbook.

Thank you for being such an important part of the BVA community! 🌟

We are grateful for you, our Bay View Community!

🎉🍦 CVO APPRECIATION ALERT! 🍦🎉

If you’ve ever been to a BVA event and thought, “Wow, this school knows how to have fun!” — there’s a good chance our amazing Community Volunteer Organization (CVO) had something to do with it! 💙

Our CVO members are parent volunteers who are some of the driving forces behind the community magic at BVA. They pour their time, creativity, energy, and heart into creating the joyful events and experiences that bring our families together and make BVA feel like home. ✨

And speaking of magic… THANK YOU for Friday’s Ice Cream Social! 🍦 It was such a fun way to celebrate our community, and we are so grateful for all the work that went into making it happen.

So, BVA families, when you see a CVO volunteer around campus, give them a little extra love and a personal THANK YOU! 🙌 They deserve all the appreciation for everything they do behind the scenes and in the spotlight.

💙 CVO, you’re a huge part of what makes BVA so special. We appreciate you more than you know! 🎉

🌟 An Exciting Opportunity for BVA Families! 🌟

Workshop Series: Helping Children Manage Emotions, Build Positive Relationships & Navigate Challenging Behaviors

A digital flyer invites caregivers to social and emotional learning and restorative practices workshops, featuring a facilitator named Phoebe Smith.
An informational flyer in Spanish about social emotional learning, featuring workshop details and objectives.
We’re excited to offer three special Parent Workshops focused on Restorative Practices (RJ) and Social-Emotional Learning!

As a Restorative Practices school, these workshops are a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the strategies and approaches we use with students at BVA — and, most importantly, how you can use some of these same strategies at home with your child.

Our facilitator, Phoebe Smith, has worked closely with BVA and has provided Restorative Practices training for our staff, so this is a great chance to learn directly from someone who already understands our school community and approach. 💛

📚 RJ Parent Workshop Series:
  • October 21, 5:30-7pm: Introduction to Social-Emotional Learning & Restorative Practices
  • January 20, 5:30-7pm: Restorative Practices Parenting & Strategies
  • March 3, 5:30-7pm: Age-Appropriate Strategies for Challenging Behavior

✨ Food and childcare will be provided!

We encourage all BVA parents and caregivers to take advantage of this opportunity to learn, connect, and build tools you can use both at school and at home.

We’d love to see you there. 💙

⚽ Soccer Season is Coming Soon! ⚽

We’re excited to announce that BVA Soccer is returning this fall for students in 5th–8th grade. The anticipated start date for practices is Oct. 26th. Practices to be held on Tuesday & Thursday: JV at 4pm & Varsity at 5pm.

Stay tuned! Anthony Santos will be sharing more information and registration details at a later date. Be on the lookout for sign-up information!

👖 Calling All Tiny Pants! 👖

Our Lower School is building up our emergency wardrobe for those “Oops!” moments and we’re in need of some extra pants for our youngest learners.

If you have gently used small-sized pants that your little ones have outgrown, we would be so grateful for the donation!

📍 Please drop donations off at the Lower School Front Office.

Help us keep our littlest BVA stars covered, comfortable, and ready to get back to learning! 💙
