The 2026 "Under the Sea" Spring Gala is a semi-formal adult fundraising event at the Monterey Elks Lodge on Saturday April 18th from 4:30-8:30pm and includes:

Tickets are available through April 9th, or until they sell out. 

This is a BIG fundraiser for BAY VIEW ACADEMY CHARTER SCHOOL with past years events raising $15,000-$20,000 for our school. These funds are used for field trips, student enrichment, free BVA community events (like Ice Cream Social and Trunk or Treat), and staff appreciation. You do not need to attend to purchase raffle tickets to win grade raffle baskets, or participate in the silent auction. Invite your friends, family, and neighbors!  If you would like to purchase tickets by cash or check please comment on this post or email CVO@bayview-academy.org

If you would like to help buy your teacher's ticket or sponsor any lower cost tickets, there is a ticket sponsor donation option available on this post. If you want to donate to a specific person, please write their name in the payment notes section. 

If you need childcare for the event, YMCA of the Monterey Peninsula has confirmed that they will hold a concurrent Kid's Night Out event for us from 4pm-9pm for $25/child for YMCA members and $35/child for non-members. *NOTE: this child care is located at the YMCA of the Monterey Peninsula,  1.8 miles from The Elks Lodge Monterey. 

FOOD: The included charcuterie spread and complimentary wine will be out for the first hour and dinner starts at 6pm. Dinner is buffet style and includes: Caesar salad, Dinner Rolls, Nut-free pesto pasta, Roasted Vegetables, Chicken Piccata, and Chicken Marsala. There will be water on the tables, as well as an included self serve drink bar with lemonade, coffee, tea, and Martinelli's sparkling cider. Dessert will be a Dessert Bar spread with various desserts donated by Chef Paul Corsentino, Chef Michelle Lee, licensed home bakery business Betty Rocker, licensed home bakery baker The Baking Connection, and licensed home bakery baker Whisk'd Monterey. Please email CVO@bayview-academy.org if you have any allergies or food restrictions by April 1st so we can accomodate your needs!

If you have or know of a business that would like to make a tax deductible donation of goods, services, or sponsorship for the silent auction, VIP gift bags, or as an Event Sponsor, please reach out so we can coordinate the donation and thank you letter. 

All Event Sponsors will receive a thank you letter with tax ID for deductions:
-Event Sponsors $100-499 will be listed by name as Event Sponsors on the donor board, in thank you posts on socials, and in school programming through the next calendar year.
-$500 Silver Sponsors listed with their Logo higher up and larger on the donor board, and all other perks of the previous sponsor category.
-$1000 Gold Sponsors listed higher up the donor board with logo and includes 2 VIP seats and all other previous perks.
-$2500 Platinum Sponsors at the top of the donor board with logo and includes a VIP table of 8, and all other perks Silver Sponsors receive.

VIP Tables are also available for $1000 and include a reserved VIP table with 8 guest tickets, a small swag bag for each VIP guest, and your choice of name/business name on the donor board under the donors section, and in the thank you section of our programs for the next calendar year.
