Reminders & Important Information:

  • Picture Day Retakes are on Tuesday, Sept. 16 — 9:00 AM at Upper School and 1:00 PM at Lower School. If you only received an access code for one child, please email our photographer Robert at robert@shutterbugmonterey.com. He will send you the code quickly.


  • Start logging any volunteer hours in ParentSquare. Reach out to a staff member if you need help.

📚 Bookmobile Visits

  • Lower Campus (2:15–3:30 PM): Sept. 19, Oct. 17
  • These visits will take place into the after-school hours, so families are welcome to stop by with their children!
  • Upper Campus (9:50–10:55 AM): Sept. 26, Oct. 31

Fall Camp Registration Open

Bay View Academy will be hosting Fall Camp for students in grades TK–6 at the Lower School, 222 Casa Verde Way, from October 6–10. The camp will be STEAM and Robotics focused.
  • Cost: $200 per week (includes breakfast, lunch, and snack)
  • Sibling Discount: $20 sibling discount
  • Camp Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Eligibility: Open only to Bay View Academy students
  • Scholarships are available: Families may qualify for free camp through the ELO program if they receive free/reduced-price meals, are English Learners, experiencing homelessness, or in foster care. Contact us to confirm eligibility at ronda.griffith-harman@bayview-academy.org
  • 7th/8th Grade: Students in grades 7 and 8 are welcome to enroll (standard fee applies)

Hello!! Please mark you calendars and plan to join us at our whole-school BVA FAMILY PICNIC on Sunday, Sept. 14th from 11a-Sunset.
We would love to spend the day getting to know each other, playing, and relaxing in nature. Bring your games, books, hiking shoes, or just yourself! There are not necessarily any planned activities other than just having a good time together:)  Sign up to bring something and RSVP (suggested but not required)
